Yadegar Imam Highway, Poonak Bakhtari Bridge (1996-2001)
Description: Yadegar Imam highway was divided into five parts and each part was designed by consulting engineers. 5 kilometers of highway was designed by ParsPadir consulting engineers (between Eyvanak and Eassar streets). This part consists of 3 bridges (Sarve, Poonak Bakhtari, and Eyvanak), three interchanges and one intersection, shallow water drainage system, lighting, geometrical and pavement design of highway and retaining structures. The project is one of the most important ones in Tehran city, and the features were published in journals. Also the president of Iran was inauguration the highway in 2001. Abutments are made by reinforced soil structural system, designed by Amin Ghafooripour. It was checked by Dr. Behnia (Tehran University) and constructed by Khak Mosalah Iran Company with their contract and patent basis modifications. Street lighting also designed.
