Jahad Bridge, in Arak city (2008)
Description: This bridge is in the Jihad square in Arak city. It is one of the most important bridges in this area which is a concrete bridge with 55-meter length.

Description: Monj Hydropower plant is the part of the “Karun 4” dam major project, which is ARMAND AB is the ultimate consulting engineers and consulting engineers, is the consulting engineers for design of 2000 mm penstock. This hydropower plant has been designed to supply the required electrical power for the construction of Karun 4 dam. The length of penstock that was exposed with anchor blocks & buried was equal to 2000 m that is one of the largest penstocks in the country. The hydropower consists of hydro turbines, which are rotating by water pressure. A penstock from upstream secondary dam feed the water to the hydro power plant, and the pipeline route has an approximate length equal to 2000 m with 100 m height between dam and powerhouse. A bridge is across Monj river and is designed for access to the power station. Also, the 2000 mm penstock passed over it to the power plant It is one of the most important bridges in the project of Karun 4 Dam. This bridge Has steel plate girders which have one bay with 33-meter length & designed for truck & penstock loads.

This part consists of 3 bridges (Sarve, Poonak Bakhtari, and Eyvanak), three interchanges and one intersection, shallow water drainage system, lighting, geometrical and pavement design of highway and retaining structures. The project is one of the most important ones in Tehran city, and the features were published in journals. Also, the president of Iran inaugurated the highway in 2001. Abutments are made by reinforced soil structural system, designed by Amin Ghafooripour. It was checked by Dr. Behnia (Tehran University) and constructed by Khak Mosalah Iran Company with their contract and patent basis modifications. Street lighting was also designed.
