Description: It is a boulevard with 32-meter width and 2000m length behind after the break water in the Persian Gulf. A park is placed along this road as a coastal green area. All parts of project regain the land from the sea, and a massive size of the embankment was used behind the break water for this project. Assessment of Offshore Structure (2000-2002)
Description: Ambient Vibration Tests were used for three jacket-type offshore platforms in the deepest sector of the Persian Gulf. Collaboration was made between the International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES), Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC), Islamic Azad University (IAU), and consulting engineers. Research focused on vibration-based damage detection methods and system identification of steel offshore platforms in the Persian Gulf. Dr. Amin Ghafooripour’s Ph.D. thesis was based on this project, leading to the invention of an underwater inspection method for offshore structures, which was registered.

Description: F9A was a jacket type platform which was built in 1978. During the years, F9A platform was not installed, so in 1991 the project described for Sadra as EPC contractor. The Iranian team including one consulting engineer and the domestic team inside Sadra Co. were studying about it. Amin Ghafooripour & Mr. Abbas Mousavi, as the head of the offshore–structure department, studied the platform analysis and design as the first offshore job in Iran. However, final design had been carried out by Dr. Galgoul by SACS software, and the mentioned team trained by him.
